Today, 28th of February is Dia de Andalucia or Andalucia day and we have the day off to celebrate. Andalucia is the largest of Spain's 17 autonomous regions and is possibly the best know, most certainly by the Brits who flock to the Costa del Sol in their millions every year and by the expatriates who live here in their masses.

Andalucia (Málaga) is the home to the great painter Pablo Ruiz Picasso and by some strange coincidence, also to that fantastic clothes boutique Secreto de Zafiro!

The day will be spent updating stock though as we are preparing for spring, holy communions and Semena Santa (Holy week, Easter week)

Oh well, the last day of February and it´s a very busy time at Secreto de Zafiro. As with other fashion boutiques, we have to update our stock and get ready for a new season.

The Communion season will soon be upon us and in Andalucia this is a very important day, especially for the young girls and boys. In recent years first holy communions have become almost as important to some people as any wedding celebration and there will be some fantastic communion lunches and parties.

Little models - big ambitions

Secreto de Zafiro have great news for all the little budding models in the Village of Villanueva del Trabuco, Malaga. Secreto de Zafiro are holding a Communion clothes fashion show at restaurante La Plaza, in the towns main square or plaza. La Plaza is the focul point for the towns Brits and Spaniards alike and the show will be a great thrill for our little models and parents.

Secreto de Zafiro has a fantastic range of communion and wedding clothes and accessories and the fashion show will highlight the best we have to offer. Clothes are better viewed worn by models as you can actually see how they will look.
